Sponsor a Service Dog

Every day, firefighters and paramedics walk into situations most people will never experience. They carry the weight of trauma, loss, and relentless stress long after the sirens fade.

For many first responders, the battle does not end when the shift ends.

Post-traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression affect thousands of firefighters and EMS professionals across the country. Yet many of them struggle in silence, often without access to the support they need.

At the Guardian K9 Foundation, we believe the people who protect our communities deserve protection themselves.

That is why we train and place highly specialized PTSD service dogs with firefighters and paramedics who are struggling with the invisible wounds of their service.

These dogs are far more than companions. They are trained partners who can:

• detect rising anxiety and stress

• interrupt panic attacks

• ground flashbacks and dissociation

• provide emotional stability and safety

• restore confidence and connection

A well-trained service dog can be life-changing.

But training a Guardian K9 is a complex and intensive process that requires significant resources.
